How can I purchase movie tickets and confectionery safely?
Pre-book online on the CineCentre website, via the CineCentre App (download on the Apple Store or Google Play) or phone our National Call Centre on 0861 2463 00.
 
Can I sit next to my family and friends during a movie?  
Seating in our cinemas has been separated, so everyone can safely enjoy the movie, meaning you’ll have free seats on either side of you. If you come with friends and family, or those you co-habit with, just move over, thereby leaving extra seats between you and other guests.
 
Are your staff be COVID-19 trained? 
Absolutely, all our staff are trained on COVID-19 safety. Our valued staff have been issued the necessary PPE (personal protective equipment) to ensure their safety and yours, and will undergo temperature checks, as well as health questionnaire checks, at the start of every shift. Any staff member who feels sick will stay home.
 
I am not feeling well, but I have purchased a ticket. Can I get a refund?
The safety of our patrons and staff is our number one priority. We will issue you with a voucher to use for your next visit to the movies.
 
What additional cleaning methods have you introduced to curb the spread of COVID and ensure safety of patrons and staff?
In addition to our scheduled cleaning periods, we have increased the frequency of cleaning in our auditoria and high touch-point surface areas (such as card machines, counters, hand-railings, etc). Guests are encouraged to dispose of their rubbish at the conclusion of their movie session.
 
My movie vouchers expired while cinemas were closed. Can I get an extension? 
If any movie vouchers hadn’t expired as of 23rd March 2020, your voucher will be valid for an additional 6 months.
 
How do I check if a movie is showing at my cinema?
If the movie has been released at the cinema you can click on "Select a Cinema" from the movie info drop down to view all movies on at your local cinema.
 
Are my online payments secure?
Yes. We have taken the utmost care to ensure your online payments and details remain totally confidential and secure when using our online facilities.
 
How do I check if a movie is showing at my cinema?
If the movie has been released at the cinema you can click on "Select a Cinema" from the movie info drop down to view all movies on at your local cinema.
 
 
Can I purchase tickets online?
Yes. Tickets to all movies currently showing can be purchased online. You can make use of the "Quick book" area or from a movie information page you can use the "Book Now" button.
 
How do I purchase a ticket with my credit card?
  • Step 1: Select either the name of the movie you want to see or the cinema you want to go see it at from the dropdown lists. You can also select to book from any movie information page or area by clicking on the "Book Now" button.
  • Step 2: Select the time you would like to book for from the displayed schedules.
  • Step 3: Choose your preferred seats by clicking on the seat(s) from the seating plan and click the "Book Now" button.
  • Step 4: Confirm your choice of movie and confirm the Terms and Conditions of use. Select credit card under "Preferred Payment Method".
  • Step 5: Enter your payment details in the form provided and then click "Process my Card" button to finalise your order.
  • Step 6: If your payment was successful, a page with your booking details, as confirmation of your booking will appear onscreen – you will also receive an e-mail confirming this. If your payment is unsuccessful however, you will receive a message onscreen stating this. If this happens, please check that the credit card details entered are correct and then resubmit.
 
 
My local cinema is not showing in the drop down?
That specific cinema might not be available for booking at this point. Please try again later.
 
What do the clasification rating and age restrictions mean?
Listed alphabetically:
A – All ages category and is suitable for all.
PG – All ages category but cautions sensitive viewers. Children under the age of 13 are only allowed to purchase a ticket with the consent of the parent or caregiver.
7-9 PG – Not suitable for children below the age of 7 years. Suitable for 7-9 year old children, but the parent or caregiver must also be present for the duration of the film. Suitable for 10 years and older.
10 – Not suitable for below 10. Suitable for 10 and older.
10-12 PG – Not suitable for below 10. Suitable for 10-12 year old children, but a parent or caregiver must be present for the duration of the film. Suitable for 13 and older.
13 – Not suitable for below 13. Suitable for 13 and older.
16 – Not suitable for below 16. Suitable for 16 and older.
18 – Not suitable for below 18. Suitable for 18 and older.
